Do I need to have Illustrator or Photoshop to use these templates?
No, although there are file formats which allow you to use these templates in Illustrator or Photoshop, there are also Canva templates for you to use. If you use Affinity designer, you can also use the Illustrator files there as well!
I've never designed before, will these still work for me?
Yes! These templates come with short tutorials to help you get started so you can create a logo quickly and without years of design experience or training.
Do I need a Canva Pro account?
No, you do not need a Canva Pro account to use these templates.
Will I be able to get my logo trademarked using these templates?
Okay, let me start by saying I am not a lawyer, nor am I a legal expert, but these templates are designed without graphic elements meaning you would be able to trademark them IF they meet the criteria of your country's trademark organisation. If you choose to add a graphic element or symbol to one of these logos, please do your due diligence and read the terms of use for the software you are designing in. This is super important if you are designing your logo in Canva or if you are using a stock photo site to source a symbol.
